Resource Companions (Lumberjack & Miner NPCs)[edit]

Adventurers and artisans who gather raw materials across Hopelands can hire loyal Lumberjack and Miner Companions to harvest alongside them.

1. How to Obtain a Resource Companion[edit]

Purchase a companion contract from the Valdris Market Vendor under the Deeds tab:

  • Lumberjack Companion Contract — 100,000 gp
  • Miner Companion Contract — 100,000 gp

Double-click the contract in your backpack to summon your bonded companion.

2. How Companions Work[edit]

  • Automatic Co-Harvesting: Keep your companion within 6 tiles while you chop trees or mine ore/stone. Every time you successfully harvest a resource:
 * Your Lumberjack Companion automatically chops and gathers extra logs/boards alongside you.
 * Your Miner Companion automatically mines extra ore/granite alongside you.
  • Companion Pack Storage: Gathered materials are placed in your companion's backpack, which you can access and unload at any time.
  • Auto-Return on Login: If your companion is stabled or internalized when you log out, they automatically return to your side 2 seconds after you log back in!
