🎃 Halloween 2026 — The Grim Reaper Rises 🎃

The veil between the living and the dead grows thin across Hopelands. Graveyards stir, pumpkins hunger, and the Harbinger of Doom walks the land.

Event Overview

During the Halloween season the following systems run automatically on the shard:

Haunted Graveyards – six cemeteries across Hopelands are permanently infested with Killer Pumpkins and Pumpkinhead Minions (about 5 creatures per graveyard, respawning every 5 minutes).
Wild Autumn Pumpkin Patches – farmlands are filled with harvestable pumpkins. Harvest them for pies, carvable pumpkins and rare trophies… but beware of ambushes!
The Grim Reaper World Boss – every 2–4 hours the Grim Reaper rises in a random graveyard. A shard-wide message announces where he appeared. At most two Reapers can be active at the same time.
Halloween Memorial Trophies – unique trophies that carry the name of a fallen player and the creature that slew them.
Seasonal Cosmetics – Halloween 2026 Robe (hue 2990), sold by the Valdris Market Vendor.

Double-click a Wild Autumn Pumpkin (stand within 2 tiles) to harvest it. A harvested pumpkin regrows after 15 minutes.

Carving Pumpkins

Use a dagger or any bladed weapon on a Fresh Harvest Pumpkin to carve it into a Jack-O'-Lantern named after you (e.g. "Tyrone's Jack-O'-Lantern"). Double-click a carved lantern to light or douse its candle – a perfect house decoration.

The Grim Reaper – Harbinger of Doom

The Grim Reaper is a mage/necromancer world boss (120 Magery, Necromancy, Spirit Speak and Magic Resist). He is immune to poison, barding and provocation, automatically dispels summons and is always flagged as a murderer.

Abilities

Soul Harvest (every 20–30s) – "YOUR SOULS ARE MINE!" Every player within 8 tiles takes 25–45 damage and loses 20 stamina and 20 mana. The Reaper heals for the total damage drained – spread out and keep your healers ready!
Rise, Children of the Grave (every 35–50s) – summons 3 Pumpkinhead Minions around him.
Dread Laughter – maniacal laughter echoes across the battlefield.

When the Reaper is slain a shard-wide message announces that he has been banished back to the underworld.

Gravestone Carving Tool	35%	Blessed chisel – target any gravestone to carve your own personalized inscription.
Spooky Jack-in-the-Box	35%	Blessed toy – double-click for a pop and maniacal laughter (5s cooldown).
Super Boss loot pack + 5 gem packs	100%

Halloween Memorial Trophy

A collectible urn (Halloween Shard Relic) that records "In Memory of" a random player of the shard and "Slain by" the creature that dropped it. Collect them all and display them in your house!

Halloween 2026 Robe – available in the Market (hue 2990).

Tips

Bring friends – the Reaper's Soul Harvest scales with the number of players near him, so fight him at range or rotate tanks.
Kill the Pumpkinhead Minions quickly or they will overwhelm healers.
Fire resistance helps against Killer Pumpkins; cold and energy resistance against the Reaper.
Pumpkin patches are a safe way for new players to earn pies and trophies – just watch out for the 25% ambush.
