🎵 Bard & Minstrel Templates

The Bard archetype uses enchanting music to incite lethal infighting among creatures (Provocation), soothe vicious predators (Peacemaking), and severely compromise boss defenses (Discordance).

Below is the progression tree starting from a beginner build (700 Skill Points) branching into 3 specialized bardic paths:

Basic Bard (700 Skill Points)

     100 Strength

      25 Dexterity

     100 Intelligence

     100 Musicianship

     100 Provocation

     100 Peacemaking

     100 Discordance

     100 Magery

     100 Evaluate Intelligence

     100 Meditation

Playstyle: Provokes dungeon mobs to fight to the death from a distance, debuffs survivors with Discordance, and executes them with Magery.
Starting Skills: 50 Musicianship, 49 Provocation, 1 Magery
Gear: Lute, Harp, Tambourine, Bamboo Flute, Med-enabled Leather Suit.

Playstyle: Instantly discords high-tier bosses to strip their resists and stats by -28%, massively boosting party DPS while backing up with offensive spells.
Gear: Slayer Instruments, Fast Cast (FC 2 / FCR 6) Jewelry.

     120 Musicianship

     120 Peacemaking (Area Crowd Control)

     120 Resisting Spells

Playstyle: Clears rooms of Blood Elementals, Balrons, and Drakes without spending a drop of mana by pitting them against each other.
Gear: Exceptional Lutes, Defensive Spellbook.

[MELEE FIGHTER & MINSTREL HYBRID]

     100 Strength | 
     100 Dexterity | 
     25 Int

     120 Swords / Fencing / Archery

     120 Tactics

     120 Anatomy

     120 Musicianship

     120 Discordance (Amplifies Personal DPS)

     120 Healing

Playstyle: Weakens the target's physical resistance via Discordance, then carves through their remaining defense with high melee weapon damage.
Gear: 1-Handed Weapon, Shield, Instrument belt clip.
