During the Halloween season the following systems run automatically on the shard:
* '''Haunted Graveyards''' – six cemeteries across Hopelands are permanently infested with Killer Pumpkins and Pumpkinhead Minions (about 5 creatures per graveyard, respawning every 5 minutes).
* '''Wild Autumn Pumpkin Patches''' – farmlands are filled with harvestable pumpkins. Harvest them for pies, carvable pumpkins and rare trophies… but beware of ambushes!
* '''The Grim Reaper World Boss''' – every 2–4 hours the Grim Reaper rises in a random graveyard. A shard-wide message announces where he appeared. At most two Reapers can be active at the same time.
* '''Halloween Memorial Trophies''' – unique trophies that carry the name of a fallen player and the creature that slew them.

* Bring friends – the Reaper's Soul Harvest scales with the number of players near him, so fight him at range or rotate tanks.

* Fire resistance helps against Killer Pumpkins; cold and energy resistance against the Reaper.
* Pumpkin patches are a safe way for new players to earn pies and trophies – just watch out for the 25% ambush.
