Leveled Skill Books[edit]
New Hope Shard introduces custom Leveled Spellbooks and Combat Books. These books gain Experience Points (XP) when players actively participate in combat or magic, allowing players to level them up and spend points to unlock powerful attributes.
1. Book Categories[edit]
The following leveling books are available:
- Book of War (Warrior Book): Levels up through melee combat.
- Spellbook (Magery Book): Levels up through casting Magery spells.
- Book of Necromancy: Levels up through Necromancy spellcasting.
- Book of Bushido: Levels up through Bushido combat styles.
- Book of Ninjitsu: Levels up through Ninjitsu abilities.
- Book of Chivalry: Levels up through Chivalry paladin spells.
2. Leveling & Attributes[edit]
- Maximum Level: 100
- Earning XP: Hitting monsters, casting spells, or engaging in active combat gains XP. Slaying higher difficulty monsters awards more XP.
- Upgrade Points: Each level up grants Available Points that can be allocated to custom stats.
- Attributes to Upgrade:
- HCI (Hit Chance Increase) - Up to +15%
- DCI (Defense Chance Increase) - Up to +15%
- DI (Damage Increase) - Up to +20%
- SSI (Swing Speed Increase) - Up to +10%
- HP Regen (Hit Point Regeneration) - Up to +3
- Stamina Regen (Stamina Regeneration) - Up to +3
