Warships and Seafaring
Warships & Captain Skill System
Embark on high-seas warfare. Command galleons, fire custom broadside cannons, level up your captain status, and fight off Orc Warships that roam the oceans.
1. Captain Skills & XP Progression
Steering ships and firing cannons awards Captain XP. Raising your Captain level increases broadside efficacy:
- Level Range: Level 1 to 10.
- XP Sources:
- Sailing/moving the ship: +1 XP per relocation step.
- Firing a cannon: +20 XP.
- Sinking a hostile roaming warship: +10,000 to +50,000 XP (depending on ship size).
- Level Bonuses:
- +5% Cannon Damage per level above level 1 (+45% max at Lvl 10).
- +5% Damage Reduction (Resistance) per level above level 1 (+45% max at Lvl 10).
2. Ship Control Pad & Steering Gump
Double-click the ship's wheel/pilot to open the Ship Control Gump. It provides directional steering buttons for 8-way movement, group cannon controls, and auto-reload resources:

- Movement controls: Directional steering buttons for 8-way movement.
- Group Cannon Fire: Fire all port or starboard cannons simultaneously.
- Ammunition Storage: Store up to 500 cannonballs in the ship's ammo storage (`StoredAmmo`). Cannons automatically reload using resources if available in backpack or ship storage.
3. Spyglass Radar & Tracking
Use a spyglass to search the seas for hostiles, targets, and events. Double-clicking the spyglass opens the **Spyglass Radar** interface, displaying real-time tracking, range, and direction for nearby ships, fishing spots, and bosses:

4. Ship Boarding & Damage Rules
- Ship Boarding: Use a Boarding Rope item on an enemy deck. Teleportation is enabled once the enemy vessel's durability falls below 33%.
- Ship-to-Ship Damage Reduction: Ranged attacks between different ships deal 10% damage. Board the enemy ship to deal 100% full melee and spell damage.
